SUMMARY:Hiking the Pine Barrens
DESCRIPTION:The Pinelands of New Jersey are one of the greatest ecological wonders this state has to offer and full of rich history. Join us as we venture through forests of pine and cypress stands on a relaxing hike with little to no elevation change. This trip is suitable for all experience levels\, and we encourage you to sign up today and meet some like-minded folks who enjoy exploring the outdoors in a supportive environment. Our hiking trips meet at the Cook Recreation Center and include transportation to/from the trailhead on a fully guided experience with our outdoor staff as they facilitate the hike. Please bring plenty of drinking water\, snacks/lunch\, and wear appropriate clothing for walking outside in the present weather. You will receive an email from our staff prior to the departure date with more pertinent information. \nPlease meet at the Cook Rec Center- Base Camp at 8:30 AM. \nCost: $20 \nRegistration required.
